John Peters
God called us to plant Living Water Fellowship in the spring of 2016 and we started with a core group of about 12 people meeting in our Salem home. We began meeting on Saturday evenings because we were still pastoring a growing church in Lincoln City on the Oregon coast. In 2016, after a great year at the coast where we baptized 10 new members and saw great opportunities open up for growth, we felt God’s call to reach the people of Salem.
We have been blessed as we have moved from our home to an elementary school and now to a leased building that we believe was God’s hand at work in providing us a great opportunity to reach an area of Salem that is in real need. Our heart is to serve God first by serving our community and those who need so desperately to hear the saving truth of the Gospel of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! This is the heart that has grown within this body of believers and we are completely committed to what God wants us to do here!
Cindy and I have served in the medical field for over 20 years, helping and serving others. We have also served several years in church related leadership from youth leaders, women’s leadership, associate pastor, and pastoring now for 10 years. We are excited to see what God is going to do in this area that is surrounded by many disbelieving factions, but we know that our God is bigger and greater than anything this world can bring, so our trust and joy is always in Him!

Randy Burrows
Randy Burrows MT(ASCP), MBA – Lead Church Planter NAMB
My wife Kandy and I recently purchased property in the Cascade Mountains and are building a pioneer home in Dexter Oregon. In August of 2017 we were approved as NAMB church planters. We have since assisted/lead in an organic church plant in Cottage Grove, Oregon; and Re-Plants in Albany, Toledo, Sweet Home, and Dexter Oregon. Our calling is to assist churches that are in danger of closing their doors. We believe that a dying church does not bring God glory. We seek to provide and assist these dying churches with a Legacy Re-plant option. As of 2019 I became a certified NAMB Church Plant Trainer. I am also a co-vocational church planter working for a National Clinical Laboratory in the Eugene Oregon area. I have a Medical Technology Degree from East Texas Baptist University and a master’s degree from Colorado Technical Institute.

My name is Boris Alfaro. I’m serving as pastor and church planter in Comunidad Cristiana Renuevo in Salem, OR. A little over 20 years ago the Lord called me to this region of the States from Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. I served as a pastor of an established church for ten years and afterwards the Lord led me to the church planting adventure in Salem where we planted CCR and continue helping and catalyzing the Hispanic work in the region. We have seen God working in several church plants with the vision of having more works in the area. My involvement in ministry includes coaching, associational work, pastoral work, church planting and leadership development. It is an honor to be part of the leadership team of the Oregon Coalition where we will see a multiplication of churches in our region.
